Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, the high-energy Mexican dining destination known for its full-sensory experience, is thrilled to announce its first Massachusetts flagship location. Opening in Summer 2026 at the Burlington Mall, this highly anticipated debut marks the brand's 11th location nationwide.
The Massachusetts Debut
For founder Rocco Mangel, expanding to Massachusetts is more than just strategic; it's deeply personal. With family ties in nearby Watertown, Mangel spent his childhood summers in the Boston area, forming a lasting connection to the region's culture and community. From time spent around Fenway Park, where his family operated a local garage, to stories of his grandfather shaping the family's work ethic, Boston has heavily influenced Mangel's approach to hospitality.
"There's a pride, grit, and authenticity to this community that aligns perfectly with what we've built at Rocco's," Mangel shared. "Opening in Massachusetts feels like a full-circle moment."
A New Destination at the Burlington Mall
Located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike, Rocco’s Tacos will occupy the space previously held by Rosa Mexicano. You can find us on the lower level of the mall, conveniently located directly across from Legal Sea Foods.

Signature Flavors: Under the culinary direction of chef and partner Lisabet Summa, the Burlington location will feature seasonally refreshed menus, our famous tableside guacamole, and signature margaritas.
